The Commonside Trust is working to improve the lives and environment of people living in the eastern part of the London Borough of Merton. It does this by managing a community centre, running community events and a number of community development programmes.

Programmes and Activities-

The Trust manages a community centre and runs a number of community events. Its community development programmes are as follows: 1. Choices for Young People - young parents and positive activites; 2. Step Forward employability programmes for parents; 3. Resilience for families: supporting families, financial literacy and helping children affected by domestic violence; 4. Independence and wellbeing for older people: Lunch Club, entitlements and support, Celebrating Age; 5. Health Community: Active Mums, Active Mind and Food Project.
